About Me
I am finishing a B.Sc. in Data Science at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, on top of a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Baku State University. Two degrees in the quantitative core: real analysis, probability and measure theory underneath the machine learning, rather than beside it. I work in Python and SQL, teach linear algebra to 120+ first-year students, and have won five hackathons — placing second in a sixth — building working models under a deadline.
I want to work in catastrophe and climate risk modelling — where the probability theory I was trained in is the job, not a prerequisite.

Experience
Marketing Analytics & Insights Working Student
MediaMarktSaturn02/2026 – 07/2026 • Germany
- Built and maintained Looker Studio dashboards on BigQuery marketing data used by the insights team.
- Wrote SQL to join campaign, product and traffic tables into reusable reporting datasets.
- Translated recurring analyst questions into standing reports instead of one-off pulls.
Teaching Assistant — Linear Algebra I & II
Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt10/2024 – 07/2026 • Ingolstadt, Germany
- ~200 hours across 4 semesters teaching Linear Algebra I & II to 120+ first-year students.
- Explained abstract proofs — vector spaces, eigenstructure, linear maps — to students with no prior exposure, in their second language and mine.
- Graded alongside a team of tutors, aligning on a shared standard so feedback stayed consistent across cohorts.
IT Infrastructure Support Working Student
Flix03/2025 – Present • Munich, Germany
- Resolved 1,100+ support tickets working part-time alongside full-time study.
- On-site support, hardware provisioning, access management and network-side troubleshooting for employees across departments.
- Worked in English throughout, turning vague problem reports from non-technical colleagues into actionable tickets.
Education
B.Sc. Data Science
- GPA 1.77 / 1.0 — German scale, where 1.0 is the best possible grade
- Specialization in Applied Mathematics
- Key courses: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Measure Theory for Data Science, Probability Theory, Stochastics
- Teaching Assistant for Linear Algebra I & II — ~200 hours, 120+ students
B.Sc. Mathematics
- Final grade 83 / 100 (top quintile)
- Advanced coursework: Real Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Differential Equations
- A full mathematics degree before the data science one — the reason probabilistic modelling reads as native rather than acquired
- Transferred to Germany for a more research-oriented data-science track
Software Development Diploma
- 2.5-year intensive .NET & Python program (GPA 11.3 / 12.0)
- Capstone: full-stack web app with JWT auth & Dockerized deployment
- Agile & CI/CD best-practices training
Junior Programming Academy
- 1-year robotics and Construct 2 game-development track
- Introduced to Python, sensors, and basic algorithmic thinking
